The idea for these mugs came from wanting to have a cheeky way to acknowledge that life is hard and sometimes something as simple as getting out of bed needs to be honored. That morphed a little bit into a variety of awards, all meant to make you smile.
The awards are painted on both sides of the mug. There are a number of sayings available for this mug. There are also a lot of color choices available. You will get an email within 48 hours of your purchase asking for your preferred saying and color preferences. There will also be an option for surprise colors. They maybe one of the comobs below or something totally different!
Each mug holds approx 14 oz. Microwave and dishwasher safe
Deposit ONLY: This listing is for a non-refundable deposit only. The full cost of each mug is $62. When you purchase this listing you are paying a 50% deposit as well as shipping (when selected). Approx 4 weeks after your order is placed you will receive an invoice for the balance of the mug cost. Mugs will be ready to ship approx 6-8 weeks after the order is placed. Only once that invoice is paid will your mug(s) be shipped. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all.

Each piece of pottery is fired at least twice in the kiln. This part of the process vitrifies the clay so that it is no longer porous. That means nothing can be absorbed into the ceramic. Hand washing will always extend the life of any piece however, all of my functional work (mugs/tumblers, etc) is dishwasher & microwave safe.
* Exception: If your piece has gold on it, do NOT microwave or put in the dishwasher
Two questions I get a lot:
Red wine and coffee: will these drinks will stain your pots? I can say wholeheartedly that I have personally tested this very thoroughly, staining is not an issue.
Hot drinks in tumblers: tumblers can be used for both hot and cold drinks. It comes down to personal preference. If you prefer a handle for your hot drinks, a mug is the way to go.
